This issue of " systems thinking" is not mine. But not talking, no more than adapt and get the job. In case you were wondering, the project's theme is "Alternatives to Gross Domestic Product." I picked at the suggestion of the teacher, who often refers to me as "the economist." Now I'm wondering if it was a good decision.
Today I had a meeting of the research chair in which collaborate. One of the research for this semester is in fact "Alternatives to the GDP." That was the second factor that influenced my decision to take that topic. I knew that a couple of weeks my advisor in the class and my teacher systems theory had a talk on the subject. The conclusion of the meeting was something like that I was glad he had chosen that topic, however this was an academic obligation and is expected to produce additional material for the research chair. I can not say it was to my liking, but there is nothing to do with it. Will have to work to produce this additional material.
handed in my final paper for my social networking class. I can not share due to the confidentiality of data. Would have to make enough adjustments to erase all trace of the identity of the analyzed company, which I have no intention of doing. I talk to them the theme is collaboration practices. I did it from the data collected for a research project of the chair. Basically it is an analysis of centrality between individuals working in different departments and countries. I wanted to do a deeper analysis but urged the delivery date and no time to do more. This work also MEANS the first night without sleep (for academic reasons) of the semester.
I think that sums up the recent activity of the doctorate.
