Change Lock On Truck Toolbox

On October concerts and movies, my love for reading in English and some of Paty Cantú.

October was the month of events.

At least so far this year there was not a busy month with many days on weekends. In so far this month I've been to two bachelor parties and two concerts, and lack a wedding and possibly one more concert. Of the dismissed

there really is little to tell, next weekend Camel good home and were accompanied last weekend and the ancestor in his last holidays as a bachelor.

From concerts as I tell them I went to one last weekend and another ancestor.

The end just happened I was in the audience at the concert Banamex Enrique Bunbury, in his 2010 tour entitled "The Aftermath." The concert was very good. Excluding the reunion concert Heroes del Silencio for the second time I see Bunbury concert. The last occasion was at the Arena Monterrey, and this time in the Auditorium Banamex, but sitting away from the scene. On the one hand they tell you that the concert was very good, on the other, I must admit that I liked more the previous concert. Although I must be honest, I think this is due to two very personal reasons: 1) enjoy a concert more than being in court that being in a chair, and 2) Bunbury not sing "In the end ...". And there is nothing to do about either situation. Banamex Auditorium does not have a field area, and even paid for the most expensive ticket had been in an armchair. Respect the selection of songs, I understand that it is extremely difficult to sing all the songs that one expects to hear, even more when these are not simple or the most famous.

I leave you with a taste of the concert, not recorded by me, "The Stranger."

The other concert I attended was also held at the Auditorium Banamex was two weekends ago, and was the Panda concert, promoting her latest album. The latter disc is double and I have not heard much. Most of the material that was played at the concert was out of there, so I imagine how I spent in the concert. Only when they sang some songs from past albums enjoyed. In fact every time I enjoy the concert under Panda. I'm getting old, I guess.

I leave you with "The Malaventurados No Cry", just not recorded by me.

And those are the developments related to concerts and I guess that music in general.

I have not had a chance to go to the movies. The last movie I saw was several weeks ago, was "Hell" and I felt very good. What if I had had enough time doing was renting movies. These past weeks I rented three movies are very different and although the three I like. Although I notice, I think you should have a very peculiar mood to appreciate each one of them. I share the trailers, from highest to lowest, according to how much I enjoyed the film in question.

"Kick-Ass," released in Mexico with the stupid title "A superhero without superpowers.

"Chloe," released in our country with the bland name of "A Bold Proposal."

And finally, "She's out of my league ", known here as" Not in your dreams. "

And those are the three movies I've seen so far this month. As I said, with the proper mood, I think all three are quite enjoyable. And I think that the post also shows that those who put the title to the movies in Mexico are doing a lousy job.

Finally I tell them I went to the Fair Paper and unlike other years I bought one book. If I remember last year I bought two or three, and a year more. The trend can be traced back many years, when I went to the fair for several days and ended up buying a total of ten to fifteen books, or maybe more. The decrease in my purchase of books is due to several reasons. Most obviously, the stack of unread books that accumulates on my bookshelf. But more important than that, the reasons that affect my unwillingness to buy at the Book Fair is my love of reading in English and increasingly common habit of buying my books online.
buy online for one simple reason: it is cheaper. Explain why I prefer to read in English is a bit more complicated. You see, in general read a few books by English-speaking, even under Mexican authors. And although I appreciate Ibargüengoitia books, Augustine and others in general tend to read more recent European and Japanese authors.
In the case of authors who write in English I think it's obvious why I prefer to read in English. In the case of which is written in languages \u200b\u200bother than German, French, Japanese or other, the reason is also simple: it bothers me that the books are translated in English, focused to a English audience, and idioms that are only used in Spain.
And example is the only book I bought this year's Frankfurt Book Fair.

"A cry of love from the center of the world, known in English as" Socrates in Love "and written by Kyoichi Katayama Japanese, tells the story of Sakutaro and Aki, young Japanese living in Japan . My problem with translation is that I'm not used to book events are developed in Japan and the characters have names like Sakutaro and Ryonosuke, but use the terms "valid" and "have been" typical of English in Spain.

same, I'm doing everything possible to enjoy the book. I've been about 100 of the 196 pages of the book and hope to finish this week. It's a fairly light reading and I think just that explains its popularity. As I read is bestseller in Japan and when it was published in that country, in the early 90's, ousted the book that had the record for being the best selling, Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. Norwegian Wood in my opinion is much better, but as I said, this is a book shorter, lighter and generally easier to read. I was reminded of the reasons that I never read "bestsellers."

And now, I think is new, I send you a reminder of why I am fans of Paty Cantú.
